Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

It's been a long and tiring day, but I delivered the arm warmers and they were very gratefully received. My friend loved the colours, and put the blue pair on immediately to keep her hands warm in her chilly shop.


I also bought a few more bits for Christmas, spent too much money, and forgot to get more Christmas stamps *sigh*


Started a new pair of arm warmers for myself, just because I wanted to knit something and I haven't got around to sorting out a sweater to knit. The yarn for this pair is in shades of brown and bright pink. I was hoping to get another ball of the yarn today, but the shop didn't have that colour, so I'll have to make do with the ball and a half I've got. That means they'll probably be shorter than most, but I'm sure they'll still be fine.

Oh, poor you! But it's a nice feeling to know that your work is appreciated, isn't it?

Very nice, especially since she really liked the colours. I forgot to ask what colours she liked, so it was guesswork.

I'm sorry it was a long day. I hope you're able to rest. I'm glad your friend liked the arm warmers, though! And I hope your own arm warmers turn out well.

Partly my fault because I was in two minds over whether to go today or tomorrow, and ended up leaving home late. It was gone 1pm by the time I got home, and getting on for 2pm by the time everything was put away and I could sit down.

Nice being able to give someone something they really appreciate. I'm sure mine will be fine, just no idea what length they'll be.

I've ordered wool for the slippers I'm working on next. When will it arrive? Who's to say! But there are slippers in my future, which is nice because it is COLD.

I've decorated the last two batches of cookies, therefore my Christmas baking is officially done and over. I also gave away the remaining Christmas felts and cards as gifts, and have written part of the cards that are going off the day after tomorrow. Not really crafting, any of this, but definitely time-consuming. *g*

Saturday: NO crochet.
Sunday: Half a motif.
Monday: Finished the motif.
Tuesday: Did two motifs.

So I slacked off on the weekend, boo. I have 17 motifs left of right now (I just finished one a few minutes ago). Still on track to possibly finish by our Christmas party on the 23rd, and if not, should be done by the 25th. It's just, some days are going to be tougher than others. Today I had no obligations so I had plenty of time to work on it, but Mondays are a bear, and Saturdays can be bad, too, if we go to the gym in the morning. Will try my best, though!

Even if you don't finish it when you're hoping to, you're still almost there. This time of year can get crazy busy, but the finish line for your blanket is in sight. *cheers you on*
