Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Okay, I have finished the third pair of arm warmers, so they're all ready for delivery. Yay!


Tomorrow I have a load of logs coming so I probably won't have time for crafting. Lots of logs to move in sub-zero temperatures. Should be fun. At least with luck it won't be raining this time...

That's fast!

You might get our snow tomorrow - we had several hours' worth which rather upset our plans - not a major disappointment, but we didn't go out and I don't think I got much more done at home anyway (sigh!)

I only had 40 rows and the sewing up to do. Knitted while Strictly was on, sewed up after.

Really hoping we don't get snow. That would put paid to me going out on Tuesday. I don't like snow. Did you get much?

I went threw some old hand knit items and picked a few to put in the community garden's free box. A cowl, a few scarves and a pair of wrist warmers.

I also started a new scarf in linin stitch, which is new to me. I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I'll probably donate this one too.

Linen stitch is fairly simple but effective.
