Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I did a lot of work on the second pair of arm warmers last night while I was watching TV. I finished knitting the first one and started the second.


Today, I sewed up the first pair and finished knitting the second pair. I am probably going to start a third pair soon, a shorter pair. The first two pairs are 90 rows, so I think I might try 70 rows.

What colour are the arm warmers?

First pair is a deep royal blue, second pair is bright green, and the third pair is going to be mid-purple. I'm 40 rows into the first of that pair. Reading on the computer while knitting is a bit fiddly, but possible.

Two motifs done today: one of edging #2, and one of edging #6, completing both those edgings, YAY! I have 20 more motifs to go:

9 of edging #3
9 of edging #4
2 of edging #5

If I do two a day I can have the motifs done in 10 days, so the 19th. That gives me a few days to piece together and finish in time for my family's Christmas party on the 23rd.

I *might* start a third motif tonight, but probably not, my wrist says it wants a break.

Woohoo! You're doing so well! Looking forward to seeing the finished blanket. It's been a massive project but the end is in sight.
