Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No meece work today, but I've pinned the first pair of arm warmers so they're ready to sew up, and I've just got 10 more rows to knit on the first of the second pair, so that's coming along well.

The meeces aren't forgotten, they're hibernating through the cold weather.

How many arm warmers this time?

Aiming for two pairs, although I might make a third? Not sure yet. I'll have to check my yarn stash and see if I've got another colour I could use. They're for a friend.

Ah right. Two is usually good, you can have one in the wash. I even have two wrist braces now.

Seems sensible to have two pairs for that reason, although I might make a third just to have something to knit over the weekend since I can't deliver them until Tuesday. I have a log delivery coming on Monday.

Two wrist braces is a good idea. You have two wrists as well *grins* I have to use bandages because it's hard to find a b-race small enough for my tiny wrists. They're like 5 inches.

After a two-year-break (due to Covid), we finally had our charity Christmas fair again! This is me, with my spread, of which very little was left after the fair had closed:



The fair was a great success, at least for me. I've raised more money than ever before, so I feel justified to be proud of myself. Most of the little felt items were sold, and so were most of the popsickle ornaments. The folded stars and the Christmas cards weren't so much the burner, but I'll send the remaining cards to my friends all over the globe, and the rest I'll gift upon my choir mates and suchlike. With the exception of two little felts that were requested by certain LJ friends (*wink, wink*) and are going on the long travel to the UK next week. Even if they'll probably arrive too late. ;)

Yes, some of it was made for last year's fair that got cancelled because of Covid, so I really had a lot to offer.

Ugh, I am dragging this week. I did send out all but one of the cards yesterday (I realized I didn't have a current address).

Finally took a photo of the 3 stars - the green is 17 inches across.

On the 7th: 1.5 motifs.
On the 8th: finished the half motif, and made another full motif. Also did a few rounds on the knitted gift I'm working on, as a palate cleanser.

I have NO PLANS today (other than to go to a store with mom to look for ornament hangers) so I can crochet most of the day. I should be able to finish Edging 2 and start Edging 3 today. It's currently 9:39 am and I've had breakfast so am now going to settle down to work on the blanket.
