Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've baked and decorated three different kinds of cookies today - three tins of each. I think that was crafty enough for one day. *g*

Well, I have to speed up! Christmas is looming on the horizon, and we have other things to do till then as well. Like the fair and two Christmas concerts. *g*

The time leading up to Christmas flies past in the blink of an eye. Some fun events for you to look forward to!

In the end yesterday, I managed 70 rows on the first arm warmer and 30 on the second. I wasn't sure how much yarn I had so I wanted to get the second one level with the first before continuing.


So far today, I've knitted 60 rows on the second arm warmer and I'm just about to carry on with the first one. If I have enough yarn I might go for 100 rows, but I might leave it at 90. Haven't quite decided yet. My friend is a fair bit taller than me so she naturally has longer arms as well. Hoping to make her two pairs.


Also today, I sewed brooch backs on another 6 mini meeces!


Now I'm going to continue reading and knitting.

And it got better! The first pair are now knitted, 90 rows each, and I'm 20 rows inti the first of the second pair. Reading ion the computer while knitting isn't as easy as reading a book or magazine, but I'm managing.
