Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

There wasn't much time for any crafty activities today, save for cutting out petals for the felt poinsettia I decided to make in a bout of utter madness. But there are the promised photos of the most recent crafty stuff:

For the fair: pencil holders, little surprise packages and the improvised gift bags

A closer look at the pencil holders:

Those are very cheerful.

That was the basic idea, yes. We all need to cheer up a bit in these days.

Thanks. I like making these things; and that way I can put the tin cans to good use, too.

Like toilet rolls turned into surprise packages. *g*

Three more cards assembled and put in the mail today.

I'm slowly making dishcloths.

Yes! Sewing went better today.

Dishcloths are always needed. I tend to set mine in flame when I'm careless with removing pots from the oven. *g*

Haha oh no!
Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 11:58 pm (UTC)
Such are the risks of a gas oven. Practically all my dishclothes are burn at some places. I'm clumsy. *g*

Theme of a church friend's annual Christmas party was 'hoedown'. But rather than turn up as a cowboy/cowgirl, I made myself cow horns and turned up in black with white 'spot' patches sewn on!

Haha that's a great outfit! Much more fun.

Fantastic idea! And a great look, too.

Finished one motif of the Peppermint Swirl blanket, and started another.

If I do 3 motifs a day, I can have the blanket finished by the next stitch club meeting. Which sounds awfully nice! I'm gonna to try my hardest. If not, then doing 2 a day will get it done before family Christmas party on the 23rd. That's my real goal, and I think is doable. But I'd really like it done sooner as the last week before Christmas will be busy for me, so yeah!

Best wishes! Sounds doable.

*fingers crossed for your success*
