Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another four mini meeces have ears, but I messed up on the fourth one and put its ears too far forward. I can't take them off again unfortunately so that one's going to be a bit weird to look at, there's not much room for its face. Ah well. Mistakes happen.

You can always state that it's crunched up its face in displeasure over the quality of cheese offered it. *g*

I've been working on my crochet today - I have two embroidery projects to set up, but I needed something to do while I was listening on a training call so I worked on this narrow blanket I'm doing just as practice (I'll probably give it to a niece for their stuffed animals or something). Probably overdid it if my neck is any indication. Oops.

Always good to have something relatively mindless to do when listening to something. Sounds like you're doing well with the crochet, and I'm sure your niece will appreciate the blanket.

I ended up ripping it all apart down to the very first two rows and starting again, and I think the new version is more consistent! That makes me happy.

Consistency is good! It's annoying having to undo stuff but if you're happier with the new version then it's worthwhile.
