Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

The weather this afternoon was foul, heavy clouds, strong winds, and pouring rain being driven against the back of the house so hard that it came right under the canopy and dampened the dry logs in the old rabbit hutches. *pouts*


Nevertheless, despite poor visibility, I managed to sew up and stuff 4 mini meeces. I could barely see what I was doing with the last one, it got so dark, but I managed.

Yes, we had some of that rain. Mini meeces are progressing though!

Just be careful with working in the semi-dark, it could harm your eyes!

It was only for a few minutes, I just didn't want to stop before finishing the last of the four meece.

I've finished the page base for the back cover of Dani's quiet book: sewn on the pocket and the borders, did half the Velcro work (painful!) and decided to add small buttons that would serve as the knots of the bowties, just to bring a bit more colour into the whole thing. Now there are another 8 pieces of Velcro to sew on (fortunately, there are "only" 16 pieces altogether, not 32 as I first calculated because I can't count), the eyes of the teddy heads and the button, and that will be, basically, it.

Also, I've posted photos of my Christmas cards to my LJ, in case anyone is interested. :)

More done on the scarf! Got to the point where I said, 'hmm, this might be done,' and then put it down to do something else and haven't checked the length, haha. Either way, likely done tomorrow!
