Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've made three more Christmas cards today, nearly finished the red helicopter page and worked a bit on the tinfoil garlands. Two more cards and one garland to finish, and I'll be set for the Christmas fair, which ought to be take place on December 8 - unless Covid torpedoes it. Let's hope for the best.

It's been pouring with rain all day, so overcast that it's been too dark for crafting. I've been too tired anyway. Dreary weather just saps my energy. I got my writing done, then had to clean out the fire and wash the dishes while I could still see well enough that I could get away with not turning the lights on. With the price of electricity these days, I economise wherever I can.

Didn't switch the logs over today, I'm drying some larger ones and with the temperature so low I thought they might benefit from an extra day. Couldn't put the warm, dry logs out in the cold *grins*

I started my project that I was so excited for and now I think it's terrible. I can't tell if that's just brainweasels or if it's actually a bad idea, SIGH.

Only a little painting and craft the last week while we navigated some scheduled brain surgery in the family. It was very successful and in the down time I did manage to finish another coat of red on the shrines and get the Xmas tree up!
