Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another day of zero crafting. =(

Since the clocks went back and it's getting dark so much earlier, by the time I've finished writing for the day I have to get the outside chores done while I can still see what I'm doing, and then the daylight is gone and I can't see well enough in artificial light for sewing things up. Thinking maybe I should start knitting a new sweater... Something I can work on in the evenings.

Having a headache most of the day hasn't helped either.

No, having a headache definitely isn't helpful. *commiserates* Are you prone to them?

Yes, sometimes. Stress does not help. It's not a bad headache, but I probably should have taken something for it. I just don't take painkillers if I don't have to.

Have you any idea of the yarn/pattern for a new sweater?

Well, I could use the yarn I unravelled when a red sweater was turning out too small - I already have a lacy pattern picked out for that. Or I might adapt another pattern I liked and use some of the plum yarn I've got... So many decisions. It's making up my mind and actually getting started that's the hard part. Once I get going I'm fine.

I had a day full of obligations, few of them really pleasant, so very little of actual use was done today. I worked a bit on the tinfoil Christmas garlands while the chiropodist was here, and I prepared some parts for the next batch of Christmas cards, but that was about it. Writing, of course, was out of question with a mindset like that. *sigh*

Well, at least you got something crafty done so it wasn't a day completely devoid of fun things.

Yesterday I finished that Schitt's Creek project that I've been working on for 18 months, with all the black!

And then I threw together a quick pattern so I'd have something to do with my hands during training today, and finished it (bonus cat).

And THEN I was still stuck in training, so I grabbed the nearest thing I could find (some pre-hooped fabric) and made this (also bonus cat).

Now I have to put something together for tomorrow's training, I guess. *hands*

Yay! It took a long time, but the result was well worth the effort!
