Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

It's ridiculously windy today. So since I felt extra tired anyway I decided trying to paint, even in the garage, wasn't worth it. I did look at the dresser and the primer is sealing away the smell.

I poked at the peppermint heart ornament pattern this morning. Made a couple small changes and like it more this way. Might make another in a bit. I also counted up and think I need 10.

Glad the sealer is working on the dresser. When you're tired it's best not to push yourself.

I really have been trying to work on the house stuff too many days in a row.

After unpacking the mini meeces I saw some of my black-striped pairs were no longer pairs, just lonely singles =(


So I'm replacing the missing ones. I've knitted two mini meece this evening, one to match a meece I knitted on Halloween, reversing the stripes, and a pink and black one reversing the stipes on the black and pink one I've still got. I need to make a blue and black, a multi pink and black, and replace both multi orange and black since they've both gone. I had 10 pairs originally, so I'll have to check if any others are missing.


I can't continue with the spiders until I dig my felt out, so I can fill in time making meeces.

Meeces, meeces everywhere! I think some of them are hiding, with the expect purpose to force you to make more.

Well, Halloween happened and sone went to new homes =)

But the ones left behind will be lonely =(

I've started the "Funny Train" page today. If you're interested in the tutorial, it's here. After the first aborted effort I've finally managed to cut out a halfway acceptable track - only that it will be beige, not grey - and I'm now in the process of sewing it on.

I think there will be one wagon more, as this is a 20cm by 20cm book (for practical Velcro purposes: I could sew on one side of the Velcro on the title page in one stripe) and I'll have more room. I may add some small embellishments in the surroundings... we'll see.
