Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I got my yarn untangled and finished knitting both arm warmers, so that was another... 26 rows on each, plus I managed 40 rows on another one. Very busy day! I have a ton to sew up now. Maybe I'll do some of that tomorrow.

Today was an art day. I did some more experimenting with the fizzy paints. I made three new colors (purple, orange, green) and put the color tablets directly on the paper. The bottom row is my trying to do different things with The Hermit image from tarot cards.

I added to my cat cross stitch today! Have discovered that I've likely not been cross stitch correctly, but it works for me, so what? Only this kit calls for 'combo colors', one strand each of two colors and I figured out how to make it work which is probably how I've always should've been doing it and I realized likely why I stitch the way I do, lol.

Craft is a learning process, I'm constantly having those lightbulb moments.

I've done a couple of pieces, one small and one large, which required stitching with two different colours st the same time. The end result is quite effective, or it should be, but I always get the threads twisted up. It's why I prefer stitching on higher count fabric with only one strand of thread.

I do like the lightbulb moments. It does make the progress better.

Yeah it's...blegh. But hey I learned it \o/ I'll keep in mind what you do for them. See if it helps in the future.

I don't mean to get the threads twisted and I try not to because the result is messy, so if you figure out how NOT to twist them, let me know.

It does have a cool effect, I'll admit :)
