Getting the heating going when I did was absolutely the right thing to do, but now the weather's turned a bit milder again (not by much, I'd still be freezing without the heating) it's so warm indoors it's making me sleepy. I can't win at this time of year.


Anyway, I have successfully attached brooch backs to 10 meeces! It's a bit fiddly, but it seems to be working. I decided to attach them lengthwise, down the seam underneath.

Life is a bit crazy, but I did manage to finish the fingerless gloves and I have just started on a new weaving project.

Oh, we did! The two toddlers were dripping chocolate icing all over the place, and everyone left with a small bag of goodies for later. *g*

Of course, I ended up offering to make another quiet book for the grandson of a friend who'll be turning two in February (the grandson, not the friend, of course). Little tyke is very fond of cars and other such things, so this promises to be a traffic-themed one.

Fortunately, I love to bake. But yes, I was a bit tired afterwards. It was worth the effort, though. We had lots of fun.
