Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

It is annoying when one has more on the to-do list than one has the time to do them. But at least the meece factory keeps producing steadily. ;)

Getting so close with the meece!

Well done with the meece. Good luck with the writing - hopefully things will fall into place when you write today. Hopefully today won't be quite so busy.

I cut out the cupcake bases for the next quiet book page (all 12 of them, all of the size of my thumbprint). I could have done more, but I just didn't feel up to it. Sometimes you just have to leave things for later.

Which is why I am taking a crafting break for the rest of the week. On Saturday we're planning a belated birthday party (*fingers crossed*), and I'll have a great deal to bake. And then on Sunday we'll be deadly exhausted, I think. ;))

As tiny as those are, it's more than enough progress.

I'm proud of my "heroic" achievement. *g*

Well done for your progress - it's always best to stop when enthusiasm is waning rather than not enjoying your crafting.

That was the basic motivation, yes.

Attempting to read over the how-to notes on this fiddly doily, as it has been long enough since I worked on it that I have forgotten the general ideas on how to carry the second color of thread. I really do want to work on it before starting something else.

I'm declaring the dog totally healed. She is acting like herself fully. Including standing at the screen door and looking for things to bark at.

Okay, I wasn't as off as I thought I was and have re-started.

Looks like you are doing well. Glad to hear your dog is recovering well.

It looks very nice!

She didn't even have pain meds today and is doing fine. Watching her this evening in case the day's activity has her sore again.

Also tomorrow will have to be bath day, she is getting so stinky!

I got some work on the tapestry done. It's getting more interesting as I've got more colours on the go and smaller sections are building up to a bigger effect.

It is always encouraging when something starts taking shape, isn't it?
