Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The rain was pouring down this afternoon, so I stayed in despite iut not being too cold out (inside is another matter entirely, still freezing).


Anyway, I got some crafting done, sewed up and stuffed 8 meeces, and I've knitted 3 more meece bodies.

My house is old and holds the cold in better than it retains heat, unfortunately. I'll have to light the fire in a few days because it's set to get colder and even wetter.

Thanks! Tonight will be about the last of the meece knitting, while Strictly is on.

The plan is to light the fire Monday or Tuesday - sooner than I wanted, but it's going to be too cold and wet for me to hold out much longer.

I managed to squeeze in a bit of crafting today. The Christmas tree page is nearly done - I've sewn on the two facing angels with the trumpets I chose to replace the silly little buttons on elastic cords with, but I had to redo a few details several times as they didn't work out as I hoped they would. The results are... satisfactory, although could be better. All I need to do is to add some tiny little bells to the tree and it will be finished.

Now if only our neighbour would finally find the time to bring the iPad mini back, I could make some pictures at last!

It's annoying when things don't work out the way you want, but well done with progress and I hope you'll be able to take photos again soon.

I did do a bit of more of the sky on Thursday, nothing yesterday as I wasn't feeling great. I've taken an emergency trip to the GP this morning as I've been fighting something for a week now and I didn't want things to get any worse. So I have flu! Nothing to be done, but rest and stay home - but at least now I know why I've been feeling so rotten. So a weekend of resting on the couch in front of the TV is now the order for the next couple of days. I've got some crafting to do in between naps but I'll see what actually gets done and am not setting my goals too high.
