Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Sorry the post is late again tonight. I didn't have anything to report earlier, but now I've knitted 5 mini meece bodies and crocheted 8 pairs of ears.

I've also ordered some small brooch backs which I'm hoping will work better than the safety pins I was going to get. It should be possible to sew them on... *fingers crossed*

Those probably will work better. Assuming they afix in a stable way.

In the pictures they have two holes I can sew through, assuming they're big enough for a needle to go through. Probably more stable than a safety pin.

Yes, I was pleased with myself. Hoping to sew up some of the meeces today, at least get them ready for stuffing.

The dog's shoulder injury is improving but slowly, and so I am exhausted. She hurts and is scared, she doesn't know what is going on of course. I think it is totally reasonable to scream at 2am when you have a big muscle spasm.

She wants to sit outside a lot, so we sat by the rose bed and picked up rocks. I dug around looking for some bulbs that I know are around the 5th rose. Only found some grape hyacinths.

Poor little dog. I agree, it's perfectly reasonable to yell when you get a sudden pain. Hope the pain and spasms go away for her soon.

I'm hopeful, she seems more comfortable this evening.

I've made more progress than this, but you can see that I went with the six strands, and I think it worked out! I guess we'll see when the whole thing is done how my textures look.
