Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've folded 3 pale blue and 2 pale pink angel bodies and stitched on the respective wings - what can I say, they look really well. I was so satisfied that I cut out the parts for 3 more: pale grey ones with silver wings, because I still have some soft, thick grey felt rests from the quiet books. (These angels are made almost exclusively from rests). If they look good in their finished state, I'll make some more. The heads and hair pieces are all cut out - tomorrow I might work on those. Or on the grey bodies. We'll see.

The angels sound like they're coming along well. Are they all going to have the same colour hair?

Yes. I've got a lot of yellow felt rests that need a good place. *g*

Did some more work today cutting back ivy and brambles, and cut back some of the holly, mostly cutting off the leafless branches and the ones with only a handful of leaves. Had one of next door's cats lurking in the ivy under the hedge for a while, no idea why. I was there first and the cats usually avoid me, but it came dashing through the hedge like the hounds of hell were chasing it and then just settled down. Cats are weird.

today my nieces and I packed multiple boxes. and I worked. that's it. that's all I got. *collapses*

One gnome ornament at stitch club. I had time to do a second but opted to listen and chitchat instead.

Two snowflakes this afternoon. I also sewed in ends on previously completed snowflakes. I got kind of irked I had left ends so long because that's a waste of thread, but then I realized I could use the cut ends for the gnome's hanging loops. So all the gnomes completed so far have their loops and 2022 charms on them now.

Wouldn't mind to do more crafting tonight, but it's streaming night so likely won't have time, we'll see.

Sounds like you got quite a lot done for one day!

Ends of thread can always be used for other things. I hate wasting yarn too.
