Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still cold here, which is good for knitting as it warms me up. Knitting in hot weather is less fun. The snow's gone though. There wasn't much anyway, but I'm still happy to get rid of it.

More arm warmers, red this time. Knitted about 44 rows.

Answer: No. I think the perfect craft weather is lots and lots of snow, where it's impossible to go anywhere, so you just sit inside and do your craft.

No crafting today. I did some jigsaw puzzle therapy, though. My son told me he wants a miniature carrot (the same kit as the other day's mini chocolate chip cookie) so I may work on doing some of the pieces for that tomorrow.

I don't go anywhere anyway, but I prefer not to freeze when I'm crafting. I can't motivate myself when I'm cold.

It's absolutely freezing which means I only want to snuggle up by the lounge fire where I can cope with my laptop but not much else. So I'm seeking (and hopefully following) advice on increasing my grasp of Photoshop. I think digital crafts count??

I don't see any reason why digital crafts shouldn't count. You're creating pretty things!


I'm freezing too, motivating myself is hard, but knitting is warming.
