Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

All the pots are still there *sigh*

Spent a couple of hours outside clearing ivy. It's taken over the path and is encroaching on what is laughably termed the lawn (more moss and weeds than actual grass). Made decent progress although there are still weeds to be cleared. At last the path near the pond is now visible, so that's a start.

Now back to working on my fic. I have to read and edit what I've got so far before continuing...

Still having camera issues unfortunately. I can only take one or two pics before I have to recharge the battery. It's a nuisance.

Mine demands to set the date manually every time. Well, it's 16 years old. It set the date automatically for the first 10 years, then it stopped. One could probably reset the whole thing, but I'm hopeless with technology.

I decided to have a break craft-wise today. Had lots of chores and felt drained anyway, so I chose to be lazy.

This morning I dragged the wheelbarrow around the yard, using the leftover dirt from digging for clothesline poles to fill in low spots around the yard. The hole by the driveway that I twisted my ankle in was first!

Husband has taken a couple vacation days. Today we worked on the 3rd & final window in my room. The sash is in bad condition, but he has had some practice now. A large air conditioning unit was left in the window for years, and people had done odd things like adding spare window glazing and caulk to various areas of the window as it became damaged. I scraped and scrubbed a lot.

The window sounds like it was a mess. Hopefully the two of you were able to get it sorted out.

It got to the point I had to say it was good enough for now. As long as it is stable, reglazed, and sealed, I can work on the cosmetic stuff another time. No drafty windows this winter!
