Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Earlier than usual post today because I have to be up early in the morning for a hospital appointment. Not thrilled about having to be around a lot of people indoors, but I suppose it's not much worse than being in a shop.

All I've done today is write. I was going to do some crafting but I cut my thumb and didn't want to get blood on my cross stitch or knitting.

Here all the medical facilities are requiring masks at the door so it's safer than the shop. Best wishes for your appointment and healing thumb.

Thanks. I shall be masked anyway, I don't go anywhere without it.

The thumb was only a tiny cut, but I didn't want to risk it opening again and messing up my crafting.

I go everywhere masked, just at the medical buildings everyone else will be too! Very few people masking here.

Most aren't around here either, which I think is a huge mistake, but at least the other patients in the x-ray department were masked.

Mask up! Hospitals are the best places to catch germs from other people visiting.

My mask goes on before I leave the house and doesn't come off again until I'm home! Thankfully, all the patients I saw and most of the medical staff were masked.

I've gotten a little work done, and I'm hoping to do more, on this ONF piece - I've gotten several more rows of white done since I took this, but it's hard to tell anyway. White on white is a trip.

Otherwise...I took the day off for a vet thing and ran some errands and I super need to pack but also what if I fell asleep where I'm sitting. What if.

I really hate stitching white on white, it's so hard to tell where I've got to. Good luck with it. Knowing you, it's going to look brilliant!

On dishcloth 4 of 5 now - when this batch is done I think I will tackle my last, lingering, long-term WIP.

It's been laundry day so that's my main focus. I have some sheets to take off the clothesline but am otherwise done.

I've worked on the little stable scenes again, sewing on the small applications, mostly. I'll have to do some more of that; then I'll have to butcher some more pillow cases for the little metal rings for hangings, before sewing front and back panels together. *g*

You'll soon have all your pillow cases with better buttons and lots of rings for crafting!

I haven't been able to craft at all but I received a crafted keychain bracelet the other day and it's come quite handy.

So sad you're not able to craft at present, but yay for crafted gifts! Especially when they prove so useful.
