Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Not much got done today - I'm fighting the effects of the dratted cold I managed to catch at extremely high temperatures.:/ But I did finish *one* creche, and that's better than nothing, right?

I have this stupid cold *at least* once in every summer! I've learned not to give in to the urge to roll up in a corner and feel sorry for myself. *g*

Battling brambles and ivy again.And the corrugated plastic sheet I balanced on the greenhouse roof to block rain from getting through some of the broken panes blew off, so I've tried to cobble something together using the lids of some of my dismantled cold frames. I've tied them on, but I don't know if that'll hold =/

It slipped a bit and I had to do some readjusting this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy so we'll see.

Didn't do much knitting today, my parents visited and we all went out to an event in town. Fun, but I'm exhausted!

I have managed to add a few more blocks on my blanket over the last couple of days though, and am about to settle in for evening with an audiobook before bed to see if I can add any more before sleep claims me.

Fun days out are always worth setting the crafting aside for. Sounds like you're still making really good progress with the blanket. Just don't fall asleep on your knitting needles ;)

ohoho I wish falling asleep on your knitting needles was a mistake one makes only once, but unfortunately. For me it seems not to be :')

Ouch! Hope you've never done yourself an injury!

I've never done it with knitting needles so far, because I don't knit when I'm sleepy, but I quite often nearly fall off my chair when I'm typing on my computer. I doze off and go sideways. Makes me wish this chair had arms.

Finished the last 2 buttons and sewed them on. Sorted things for the Trorula hair powder experiment (more on my page about that) and did some more on the pink kirtle because I was avoiding doing other things. I'm giving some serious thought into making further medieval cosmetics for my display, so the sewing while I think is good.

I hope the hair powder will be successful. More cosmetics sounds like a good idea, and sewing while you think is multi-tasking at its best.
