Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Went fishing for plant pots under the greenhouse staging this morning, and spent some time evicting spiders. This afternoon I went down to the greenhouse again, emptied a bag and found some of my gardening gloves, miraculously undamaged, and a few other bits, but it was starting to rain, and the rain was getting in, so I retreated, then dashed back with a plastic sack to grab some of the pots, which I took under the canopy where I could stand in the dry while I brushed them off.

It rained hard most of the afternoon, with a bit of thunder for variety. When it eased up for a bit, I dashed out front and moved the pots out of the driveway so I don't have to fiddle in the morning. 3 of 4 identical hanging baskets have gone since yesterday, and possibly a few pots... not sure about that, it's hard to tell because I have no idea how many I put out.

It's still raining now. Everything is going to grow like mad! It's good though, it's needed.

We're having the same type of weather, without the thunder. How far along are you with cleaning out the greenhouse?

Rain can be annoying, but it's desperately needed in a lot of places.

I think I'm about three-quarters of the way through clearing it out. Some things are still getting wet because of the broken glass panes, but I managed to move most things away from the biggest breaks so it will hopefully not be soaked when I can can get back to working on it.

Congratulations on finding your gardening gloves. Our rain didn't start properly until this evening, when we also had thunder. There was a little this afternoon but nothing much.

I am still working on my scarf, nearing the end of it and I plan on making some fingerless gloves with the same yarn next.

I finished the pillow I spoke of in an earlier post, with the sunflowers. Here's two photos since I said I would share. I am really happy with it.

I've made considerable progress with my penguin felts. 9 out of 10 now have their front panels finished, with beaks, feet, wings, bow ties, eyes and all. One more to go, and then I can start stitching them to their respective back panels. Yay!

* Showed off the first three on Discord

I'd show them off here too but I am becoming mindful of just how many pictures I've uploaded to Dreamwidth's image hosting, so I'm waiting until end of month to take a group shot of everything I've made and thus save some storage space.

But I will say that showing them off in my main Discord group was very beneficial as it kept me motivated when I didn't feel particularly like crafting. Commenting here helps, too, so thanks once again for hosting these posts!

You're doing well with building your stock for the fair! It can be hard when you know you need to get a lot done in a relatively short amount of time, but you can do it! *cheers you on*
