Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

A bit more greenhouse progress, but it's a worse mess in there than I realised. I moved two bagged up boxes into the other greenhouse for sorting out at a later date, I'd thought I'd be able to move a couple more, but... I have some large rectangular plastic stacking storage tubs that I'd packed with various garden stuff, and sealed in heavy duty plastic sacks to keep everything clean, but the bags had split and the tubs were full of water *sigh* Had to take everything out and lay it all out on walls and paths to dry out, then empty the water out and leave the tubs to dry.

Then there was a cardboard box with clean plant pots packed into it, sealed in a plastic sack, but water got into that and the box has rotten away, fragments sticking all over the plant pots. I'll brush the worst off those tomorrow.,

Yet another bag of supposedly clean pots seems to be full of mud and soil. =/

*giggles* Not seen any mice - or rats - yet, but there are plenty of slugs and spiders...

Which isn't much better, is it? How frustrating to have so much unexpected extra work!

At least mice and rats run away. Spiders just lurk. Slugs don't bother me except that they make things slimy.

I knew it wasn't going to be a fun job, but it's so much worse than I thought.

Oh dear. It certainly sounds like a bit of a mess.

It is. I've been out this morning, bailed out another tub, and spread out a lot of pots to dry in the sunshine. This tub is the worst so far, full of brown water. The other two the water was clear.

Chores upon chores today. Sorted out three pinches of sequins, but that is all.

That's three pinches less to sort, and kudos for managing that much with everything that's going on for you.

One more row of the Cousin Quilt done. Need to step it up, but I took a week off for holidays and now I'm so tired.

I did a little sewing on an unfinished hood and it's less unfinished than it was. Hooray!
