Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

It's been raining on and off all day, which bothers me because the greenhouse is missing one and a half roof panes so everything stored in there has been getting wet. Got to figure out how to cover the gaps while I clear it out. Still, nothing I could do about it today in the wet.

Anyway, I'm tired and sore from yesterday, my hands still hurt especially my left thumb, so I stayed in. Did a tiny bit of cross stitch on the little owl motif, my stitching wasn't great but it'll do. Aside from that and this morning's writing, I did a couple of crosswords and a logic puzzle, and read one of the novels I'm currently in the middle of. Should finish that one tomorrow, leaving two more I'm partway through, one of which I can never even remember what the title is. The story is interesting enough that I want to know what happens, and yet it's not exactly enthralling me.

I think you definitely needed the rest. And crosswords can be very relaxing.

I worked a bit on the Three Kings in front of the telly again. The bodies are now all fixed, so are most of the heads. I still have to stitch on 13 out of the 33 heads, but that's the easy part. When that is done, the embellishments will take over, and *that* promises to be fussy work. Kings like lots of shiny stuff.

I'm sure the kings will be happy with their shinies.

I got yarn for my newest project, a knit dress for myself. Its a late b day present from myself. I'm working on a swatch atm, I think the final one. I had several mis starts & 1 swatch that gauge was off so I switched needle sizes. I hate binding it off & washing it but I know I probably should. Its a cotton yarn & I want to be sure this fits as well as I can.

I Still haven't assembled my partner's robe due to needing wool wash to block it. But all the pieces are done. And packed away together so that I can find them easily later.

Doing some kirtle finishing and while I was measuring exactly how much fabric I have, ended up cutting out a whole new kirtle.
