Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

More hedge shortening was achieved today, so progress, but it's still going to need a lot of work once the trees are gone. There's a lot of dead wood in it, and it's still taller than it needs to be. I'll have to check the height with my neighbour, get it down to what she wants. Her garden seems to be about 5 or 6 inches lower than mine.

Once the trees are gone maybe I'll get to do some other things... I did take photos today, just got to re-size and crop them before I can think about posting. The light was a bit bright so they're not all that good.

Before and after will still be documented even if the photos aren't great. Also you should take better after and be like...it isn't even washed out now, see? :D

That's the idea! I should have taken a before picture of the mess with the logs on the lawn and branches piled on thew path, but I didn't. I have some pics from before the apple tree was pruned which show some of the logs, but *shrugs*

I think the sun was in the wrong place. I have a good one of the juniper trunk, I think, but maybe the laurel was in too much shade, and because of where it is, it's hard to get a good angle.

Poor Joseph looks a bit like Rumcajs the Robber; perhaps that spiky beard wasn't the best idea, but I wanted him to look differently than the shepherd. Ah, well, at least Rumcajs is a good robber!

I had SO MUCH I wanted to get done today I literally only managed one row on the scarf before I got sidetracked by other things. That's one row that wasn't there yesterday, though XD

Every single row helps - some days I only manage one row in my throw square, but if I do a row a day that's half a square in a month. It adds up!

I did a little weeding and tried doing more brush killer on a few things. I also put down some dried weeds that I'd saved as mulch! The circle of life.

I've just had supper (leftovers) and am planning to sit down and work on the afghan next.

Dried weeds are good mulch. all that goodness going back into the soil.
