Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Much cooler today, which has been nice. Spent some time outside this afternoon doing some more work on the overgrown hedge. Still a lot needs to be done to it though.

Just been out to the mobile fishmonger. My neighbours across the road (both in their 70s) have been abroad for a holiday. Now they're back, the husband has Covid. The wife, who has obviously ben exposed herself and could be a carrier, is outside buying fish, without a mask or anything. I mask up every time, but nobody else bothers. What is wrong with people?

I did some crafting in the early hours, when it wasn't too warm yet for higher brain functions. I've started working on the binding of the quiet book, made the book spine and sew in the first page. So far so good, three more pages to go. I also worked a bit on the Christmas felts - the shepherds now all have their staffs. After I stitched on the first sheep head, though, we had to let down all the blinds, otherwise we'd have gone blind from the sunlight, so no more sewing could be done. I refuse to work by lamplight during a bright day. Energy prices and all that.

Well done for getting the binding underway! Sounds like you made excellent progress.

The sheep will wait to have their heads sewn.

Oh, I agree. Lights during the day when it's bright out is a waste of electricity. There are other things that can be done with the blinds closed.
