Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No knitting today, but I got outside and cleared ivy from around the path, plus more fallen laurel leaves and some brambles. Also cleared most of the seeding grasses growing through cracks in my driveway so the next time I go out I won't have to drive over tall grasses. I upset the resident black ants, but I don't care. They can find someplace else to nest.

I'm making gradual progress clearing the way to have a couple of annoying shrubs / trees removed!

No actual crafting was done today because of the party, but this bunny:



has now found a new home. It went to Ilonka's daughter who's expecting her first child - apparently a boy - in late September, to welcome the little tyke.

My hand/arm problems continue, so I have to be super careful, but I did manage to finish outlining my art/"craftivism" project that's due this month. I need to clean up a couple of things and then fill in my outlines. At this point I'm working for fifteen minutes and then resting/icing my arms and then doing it all again after an hour or two - stressful but I'm trying to persist.

No knitting today; I received the proof of my novella so I spent some time proofreading that, and then spent the rest of the day editing the novel. Very satisfying all-in-all :)

I did some knitting today and will maybe do some more this evening. I'm on the collar of a robe, which is the last piece I have to knit for this.

Still crafting like a lunatic as deadlines get closer. Tonight I managed to finish sewing the tent wall hooks on, and yesterday I finished the surcote with the beaded trim. (pics on phone to come.) I have managed to do a couple of posts on my page with photos of the last few circlets and things. Loads more to post over the next few days.
