No crafting today and no gardening either! I stayed indoors, out of the damp, and continued sorting files on my oldest laptop, clearing out duplicates. Made good progress. Monday is set to be rainy too so I might get more done then.

I've made good progress on my cross stitch this week. Now I feel like it's taking shape I can cut back on how much I do each day, since I'm happy I shall get it done by the end of the summer.

Worked a bit on the binding.... just preparatory stuff. I hope to do the last part of it tomorrow.

Today I did about half a row on the afghan. Mostly I did outdoor work - pulling tree saplings from the grass, a little mowing, a little string trimming.

A funny part was I found a small cannabis plant in the front yard under the oak tree! About 6 inches tall. Near the columbines. I stared at it for a few seconds, took a picture and verified from an image search. My husband recommended "weeding it out." ha ha.

Then, Neighbor John was mowing while I was and we started talking. He showed me around a bunch of his plants - his entire back yard is wading through peonies and roses right now. Like you can't see the paths. He has a yellow peony AND single flowered peonies. I had never seen either.
