Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Cool! No crafting today. I have started my pre-New Year BIG CLEAN (it will take four days to get through the whole flat) so that means taking everything out and wiping everything down and throwing tons of stuff out. I am trying to come up with a better organization system for the craft stuff.

Thank you! I am at the very beginning so it's daunting.

It is more about putting all the craft stuff in its own place, so there are 'kids arts/craft stuff' in a box and my cross stitch in a bag and what I consider 'inspiration' in its own place. Things tend to creep about and get mixed up.

Good for you! Clean kitchen is a great thing. Kitchen is last on my list.

Today was Pathfinder so I finished the first row of the crocheted edge of the basketweave knitted blanket and I made good progress on the second (and final row). I edited some patterns to make some fannish illusion scarves, and I have the yarn all ready to go for those. I need to knit the test pieces for those before I push forward on those in earnest, but I'm really excited all the same.

I hope the illusion scarves work, that's quite a challenging project!
