Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

No crafting again, but I did get out in the garden for an hour, cutting back brambles and a bit of overgrown hedge. Not much progress, but better than nothing.

An hour is a lot even if it doesn't look like it.

We had an early morning thunderstorm and I didn't need to water. It's maybe enough tomorrow is safe too.

Oooh, thunderstorm! Wonder when we'll get out first summer storm over here... Hopefully not too soon.

Apt phrasing since they were literally in my face as I was delving through bushes to cut the stems as close to the ground as I could get. It was a bit hazardous!

I forgot to check in yesterday, but I was working on the deep sea pages. I esteem that they might be finished during the weekend - if I am lucky. Then comes the stitching together, the seaming... and finally the binding of the books. Wish me luck!

Thanks, I'll need it. Those are the parts when I always have to redo half the stitches all the time. *sigh*

Well, the TV programme I can sew best by has ended earlier than it should have, so two octopus arms are left for Sunday, but I'm fairly content with my progress nevertheless.

I'm not quite to the center of this huge border. I swear daily that I will not do mosaic crochet again. Ha!

It really does. I guess it requires a good, sharp eye to make such things... and the ability to count.

A little bit more cross-stitch - I worked on the bank in which Winnie the Pooh is stuck. I will be glad to finish this particular project but there is still a long way to go.

Good luck. When a project takes too long, it can become tedious, or at least that's my experience. I've reached the stage with my quiet books when I can't wait to get them out of my hair.
