Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting again today, mainly due to a headache.

My computer is working for now, so fingers crossed. I'm still backing up files off the old laptop, but it's getting slower and slower. It's estimating 10 hours to copy less than 300 files. *sigh* I don't think it will really take that long, but I've known faster snails.

I did a lot of crafting today. One of the Eeyore pages is now completely seamed, and I've even started on the other one. I hope to finish that one tomorrow, or the day after, and then I can attack either the deep sea or the outline recognition page. *fingers crossed*

Hello! My current projects (2x bargello quilt top piecing, 4x quilt bindings, ~#25 of 110 English paper-pieced stars) are all stuckity stuck stuck, although I hope to do some bindings and some of the paper pieced stars tonight.

Frankly, I think I'd be faster if I sewed the bargello quilt blocks together, lumped them in the pile with the others that need backings and quilting, and got them off to the quilter, then tended to the quilt bindings. I've just been so busy..

Life has a distressing tendency to get in the way of crafting. Good luck getting your quilt tops finished and off to the quilter. I love the way quilts look, but I wouldn't have the patience for stitching all the bits together. I have tremendous admiration for anyone who does!

The paper pierced stars sound fascinating. I'd love to see pictures!

I finally had some time and energy for knitting again this week! I'm easing back into it with another Beloved bonnet, my seventh to date. This one will be for my little nephew, who is coming up to four months old, and who has outgrown the one I made for him when he was a newborn!

Babies grow so fast! Those bonnets are brilliant, I'm sure your nephew will appreciate a new, roomier one!
