Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Amazingly, I actually managed some cross stitch today! I finished the owl's body and head and stitched about two thirds of the first wing. It's a very small motif so that's nowhere near as much as it sounds. The owl's body/head is hardly more than an inch tall and the spread wing in maybe an inch and a half long. The owl is in flight. Still good progress though. I used five different colours.

Good progress indeed! I find that the smaller the motif the more complicated it is to get it right. At least for me and my sausage fingers. *g*

Thanks! I have small hands and small fingers, but it doesn't help much. Finding the right hole with the needle can be ridiculously fiddly.

Still doesn't look like an own, just a hodgepodge of browns and creams, but it's coming along.

I've picked up the twin quiet book projects today. I've worked on the two Eeyore figurines, sewing on ears, eyes and facial features. After a small setback they now have big, soulful eyes, made of glass beads and adorable faces, at least Mum thinks so. ;)

They also developed a crooked smile and are now capable of moving across their page with the help of a string. *g*

Soon, I promise! The pages themselves are done now, but I still have to stitch them together with the corresponding castle puzzle pages and frame them. THEN there will be pictures, I swear!

Did upward of 3 and a half hours gardening today (thank goodness I don't have bigger garden or I'd really hate it!) so no time for crafting by the time I'd soaked away the aches!

Well done with your gardening! I want to get back out in mine but it's turned chilly and my legs are still hurting so I might give it another day or two.
