Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

No crafting again, it was a pleasant, warm, sunny afternoon so I went out a cleared some more brambles, holly, ivy, honeysuckle, and hedge around where my old aviary shed used to be. Everything is rambling over the top of a greenhouse, and also tangled around a fence panel that needs replacing.

I presume the rambling plants are holding the fence panel up.

Partly... I've propped it up a bit better behind a privet branch to keep it from falling on my head. My neighbours had hoped to fix it while they had some time off work, but the weather conspired against them last week and now they're away for Easter. Hopefully by the time they get around to it there'll be less plant life getting in the way.

gardens with holly, ivy, honeysuckle... *sigh* trying to achieve a garden like that in Queensland is hopeless. I hope you enjoyed your gardening!

I'm so sorry you can't have the holly and honeysuckle. You're not missing anything with the ivy. It's invasive and forever trying to kill the other plants.

I did enjoy it, despite it being a wrestling match between me and the brambles. Hoping to get out there again today because the weather is glorious. Easter is usually miserable weather, but right now it's sunny and summery.

I'm taking a crafting break until after Easter. Too many other things to do, and I prefer to actually enjoy my crafting.

Wise decision. You don't want to rush any of your projects and your hands will benefit from a few more days of not sewing.

Last night I couldn't sleep so I painted small gold roses like a crazy person and got 4 panels done. More today! I'm inspired and in the zone and still quarantined anyway.
