Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I totally failed to do any crafting today, I was desperate to finish the fanfic I was reading, and then I had writing to do, and then there were chores... Plus I had to change the batteries in my doorbell receivers. All 4 of them. Fun day. *sigh* There was also sleet and hail *shivers*

Okay, I was really, really crafty today. Here are the castle puzzle page statistics:

- 19 pieces of Velcro sewn on - 17 more to go;
- 3 puzzle squares completed (which consist of 9 individual steps each) - 15 more to go;
- 1 page base completed - another one to go.

Tomorrow will be a Velcro-free day because my fingertips are really hurting. Fortunately, there are lots of soft little parts that need to be sewn on, too, so I can progress with the project.

Yesterday I also baked coconut lamb biscuits and Nutella bunnies, so tomorrow I did a bit of decorating, too. This is what the lambs look like:

This is an older picture, but they look exactly like this. The bunnies aren't decorated yet. That will be done tomorrow and the day after.

You've really done well! Resting your fingers from velcro sewing for a day sounds like a good idea.

Your lambs are cute, and look very tasty.

They are yummy indeed. I don't even like coconut, myself, but these are irresistible.

I read it as coconut and lamb biscuits. My brain blipped trying to figure that recipe. And then I saw it was a lamb shaped cookie.

I'm sooo glad that half the velcro work is done - it's so hard on the fingers!
Unfortunately, there will be another velcro-heavy page; or rather two pages, as I'm making two quiet books at the same time. *sigh*

No crafting today, but I've done tiny bits of the long term WIP this week. And today I bought yarn for an upcoming project, because my favorite shop had 1 cent shipping for April Fool's.

Husband made a file where we can try out paint colors for the house. It really looks like a house color sheet. He did not label any of the layers in the file and I don't feel like playing with that this evening. Maybe tomorrow.

Every little bit helps, and it's always a good idea to get organised in advance for future projects.

Weeelllll my original idea was a nice pale yellow with a couple greens for trim, but I was informed by my husband that I have no taste.

He suggested gray with orange trim.

So basically there's nothing at the moment.

I am currently working on the next part of the secret project. I'll let it slip that it has knitted box pleats. I have done simple pleats before, but not box pleats. Trying to write the instructions out for the pattern I am creating from scratch is giving me a headache.

Goodness, you've made a lot recently! I especially love your little UFO and alien, so cute. The starbird I've seen before, I think it's amazing. You have such great ideas!

Goodness, pleats are hard enough but box pleats... I wouldn't be brave enough to try, especially since you're writing the design yourself. Good luck with that, I'm not surprised it's giving you a headache!

I pruned tea roses for the first time in this last week. Inherited plants from lady who owned the house before.
