Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Well, no cross stitch again today, but I did get some time in the garden, battling gigantic brambles. I have been savaged by thorns, but I came out victorious! Yay! Weather is turning colder tomorrow, so I'll get back to crafting then.

I've been up to yard work too. I want to plant more seeds but it's supposed to freeze and snow again Friday! So I'm trying to hold off.

I've got snow forecast for mid-week, so I'm not even considering sowing seeds. Hope the weather improves soon so you can get your seeds in.

My garden is still an overgrown wilderness, but I'm making gradual progress.

Tomorrow's forecast is 4C and sleet. Definitely crafting weather.

Not much crafting happened on my end of the connection, either, but at least I've started the seaming of the pages. I was also lucky enough to find some round Velcro pads in one of the shops - they will hopefully be less painful to sew on than the quadratic pieces I usually cut off from a long strip. *fingers crossed*

Sewing Velcro does not sound fun, hope those pieces are easier!

No edges on round pieces, so I hope they work well for you!

My hope exactly. I never had the round ones before. They weren't cheap, but if they work better, I'll consider buying more of them, for the sake of my poor fingers.

I've slowly been working on my secret project. There was a chance that I could have gotten the first half done today, but then late yesterday inspiration struck and I dropped it to start another project. Totally laughing at myself for giving in to the temptation! Anyway, with luck I should finish this new project today, and then I can go back to the secret project tomorrow.

I picked up an ancient WIP this afternoon and actually made progress! It's hard for me to work on because it takes a lot of focus (mosaic, counting constantly). I figured out my charts and fixed the problem that made me drop it before.
