Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed to get an hour or so out in the garden, squeezing in among the gooseberry bushes to tackle some massive brambles, so I had gooseberry thorns jabbing me everywhere and impaled a finger on one, which is still sore. Gooseberries are vicious. Got a lot of bramble thorns in me too, so gardening was rather painful.

Didn't have time to do any cross stitch, which is maybe just as well considering my perforated fingertip. It'd the one I use to push my needle with.

I don't care about any of that though, because I just watched the Dancing on Ice final and when the winner was announced I was bouncing so hard I'm amazed my chair didn't collapse! So happy! YAY!

Awww, sorry to hear that you were attacked by malevolent aliens disguised as gooseberry bushes. Wish your finger a speedy recovery. But at least you had a good evening; that's worth a lot.

Thanks! I might not get crafting done today since it's the last day of good weather, but I'll be back at it tomorrow when it'll be too cold to work outside.

I would have liked a Connor / Kimberley / Regan final, but it wasn't to be. Still, Regan was my number one so I was thrilled he won. =)

I went to a yarn show today, bought several lovely yarns, and had the chance to meet my knitting friends in person for the first time in two years. *So* nice.

I've made unexpectedly good progress today: not only have I finished the seal pages, I also found the time to stitch them together with the corresponding beehive page. Next step: seaming both pages, which will take me a day each... or more. But that will mean that 4 double pages would be done and 6 more to go.

That's very impressive progress! All the seaming sounds like hard work though.

It is. And boring. One has to focus on making the stitches look more or less the same on both sides, and that is mind-numbing.

A bit more done on the infinity scarf! Not terribly far from done. It had been slowly warming up but now we have snow in the forecast this week so maybe I'll get to wear it before next autumn after all 😂

I've got snow forecast for midweek to. From 18C we're dropping to 5C. What fun =(

For the first time in ages, I got to actually do a little crafting - unfortunately it was just 'a little' - two lengths of thread on the tapestry. Still progress is progress and after not doing any for ages, I guess I should be glad for that little bit. Hopefully things will look up this week.

Two lengths is double what you managed last time, so things are looking up! Hopefully you'll have more time and energy for it soon.
