Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Got a little bit more backstitch done, finished the wave and did part of the hull of the boat, It's very fiddly work though. I opted to stitch on 18 hole per inch fabric using one strand of thread so the designs would be small enough to use on greetings cards, but I think I could do with a magnifying glass for the backstitch. Part of the problem today was that it was pouring with rain outside, so I didn't have the good light I had yesterday.

Today is being bright and sunny, so I might get a bit more done later on. I'm being seduced away by reading fanfic though...

Did a little bit on the infinity scarf but not a whole lot; the project I spent most of my time with today was book formatting!

I finished the gentlebear pages in their entirety. Lots of Velcro sewing, so my fingers are a bit miserable at the moment. I'll take a photo when the corresponding pages with the beehives and the bees are done, too.

They've grown tough since I started doing felt work. *g*

Dare I say it - the sweater is finished (I kept going until it was done despite being past midnight as I wasn't going to stop again). Photo maybe tomorrow if I can but what can I say - I have done it - finished my first big piece of clothing in crochet (socks, gloves and scarves aside - they are tricky in a different way to this).

I think I'll move on to one of my sewing projects next - either cross stitch or tapestry for a few days before making a decision on anything else.

Congratulations! That's a tremendous achievement. Looking forward to the pic whenever you can get to it.

It's good to have a change of pace now and then, and you do have lots of lovely tapestries and cross stitch to choose from.
