Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Quiet book progress, take two

This is the front page of Benny's book for his 2nd birthday. It is basically finished, save for the seaming, which is going to be simply dark blue.



The other one will be similar, just in different colours.

As previously mentioned - sorry the picture isn't too good, but it's quite difficult to get the lighting right and so I present... the jigsaw that caused me so much frustration...



There's been more working late so I haven't managed anything on the sweater since last weekend, but am just about to start the final sleeve now - probably won't get finished today so I must remember to make a note of which row I get to before I fall asleep!

What an amazing jigsaw! I can see why it was so tricky, but it's gorgeous.

I finished knitting my Swatara pullover today! Yay! It's the first really big colorwork project I've done and although I forgot what my two contrasting colors were at one point, it doesn't matter in the overall scheme of the sweater. Now it's just a matter of blocking it tomorrow and working those ends in.

Next up I think I'm going to do the Holden Shawlette or maybe I'll find another pattern for the yarn. But definitely a shawl/wrap project.

Wow, congratulations! That's a tremendous achievement, you have every reason to be proud! The blocking and the finishing of ends are the least appealing parts of any project, but they'll be worth the effort. Hope you'll post a pic of the finished pullover.

Those are some elaborate designs! The shield is going to look amazing.
