Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Had an exhausting day, doc's appointment and some shopping, but I picked up some real bargains in charity shops. Found a thick pad of 15cm square craft papers in SO MANY different patterns, around 400 sheets. Also two plastic compartmentalised cases containing beads and jewellery findings. Haven't had a chance yet to go through them and see what I've got, but there's quite a selection.

And I found a bag of crystals, some tumbled and some raw, that I snapped up. I love my crystals! There's a raw green aventurine as big as my fist! I have small hands, but still...

Those craft papers sound amazing! And bargains can make up for exhausting days. Still, try to rest a bit before the next mammooth project.

They're supposed to be for origami so they're a bit thinner than regular craft papers, but they're great, loads of Christmassy designs and some that will work for anytime. 24 different patterns!

Definitely going to be resting for a bit.

At Kik, one of the mixed stuff stores, you can buy patterned craft paper - 1000 grams in a package. But those only have 5 or 6 different patterns, at least 2 of which I never like.

The only problem with my bargain is that whoever owned it before was a smoker. There's a definite tobacco smoke smell, but I'm hoping I can find some way around that.
