Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another 5 meeces completed, 5 more knitted...

You'd think by now I'd know what I was doing, but today, first I started stitching meece faces before they had their tails on, and then i attached the wrong tail to a meece. I had one that was pale yellow and bright peach, one that was pale peach and bright peach. I attached the two-tone peach tail to the yellow and peach meece, so then I had to remove it and put it on the correct meece, trying not to let it untwist in the process. I could have used an extra pair of hands.

I have to admit the two I mixed up are both very pretty, they make a good pair even with their correct tails. I'm tempted to keep them.

It's just keeping you on your toes that when you're getting over-confident! Hopefully you've got it all sorted now.

All the meeces have the right tails now. They just looked very similar under artificial light.

Lol! There are days I could use a dozen, but I'd hate having to knit a sweater with 12 sleeves!

Not only did I not work on my projects today, I bought yarn and needles for a new project, lol. Ah well, I'll get there in the end.

Yes! A pair of leopard print socks. I'm doing them in grey and black so they will be snow leopard socks.

You know socks, so all you have to master is the colour work, something I freely admit I'm not good at.

That's true! I've done intarsia, but not stranded colourwork, but hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

If you can handle intarsia, then I don't think you'll have any problems.

I've not been able to do anything this week - working too many hours and by the time I finished I was too tired or it was too late to start.

But I did get a new jigsaw through the post... there are warnings on it in English and German - the English one says that it's not suitable for children between 0 and 3 years due to small pieces and the risk of suffocation - the pieces are in a plastic bag so I presume that's the suffocation part. But the German appears to say it's not suitable for children under 14! I'm not quite sure what German children between 4 and 13 do with jigsaws that English children haven't thought of yet but it's got me curious!

How odd! Then again, warnings on items these days are often a bit on the odd side o_O

I measured my scarf and realized I hit the halfway point several rows ago. Now to pull them out and relearn how to do a stitch I haven't done in years.

I'm really glad Youtube is around to help out.
