Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Dancing on Ice, so I got out the arm warmers to work on, but my thumb was playing up, not sure it it's the weather or I've done something to aggravate it, but I only managed 10 rows.

I did finish another 6 meeces though. I think I only need another 26 to fill the box, so I might stop after that.

Be careful with that thumb, though. No need to make things worse.

Well, it's not that many really, especially since I have 15 already knitted and waiting to be sewn up.

I'm stretching and massaging the thumb.

It certainly felt like a lot last night, even though I can easily knit 30 arm warmer rows in 2 hours under normal circumstances, and when I'm in the right mood.

Only a few days' work at my current speed. I just have no clue what to do when I stop making meeces o_O

I did half a pattern repeat on my sock and got my Mandala Madness afghan out of the drawer it was hiding in.

I still haven't heard back from yarn shop #1 about whether they want me for a second interview, but I got an email from yarn shop #2 asking me to come in for an interview on Wednesday and they want me to bring examples of my work, hence dusting off the afghan.

I worked a bit on the Thing of Beauty in recent days and finished - in theory - the first two pages. I'm not entirely satisfied with them, though, so I might redo some parts later.

So I gave in and ordered a bigger jigsaw board - Turned out of the remaining jigsaws in the house (10 because two boxes were sets of jigsaws) only 3 of those left would fit on the board I've got and the getting rid of them is without doing them is getting out of hand. Fingers crossed it will turn up later this week.

Yesterday I did another small jigsaw (500 pieces) - more dolphins/planets etc - will try to post a photo tonight. Then I started work on the new dolphin tapestry. It just goes to show how much time is given over to not skating on DOI as I made good progress in between the actual skating. Much better result on DOI tonight as well - dare I say At Last! - you'll know what I mean I'm sure.

Yes, there are a lot of crafting gaps in DoI *grins* So kind of them ;) I do most of my knitting in between the skating routines.

I was saying exactly the same thing. It's about time viewers stopped torturing us by keeping the weakest skaters in the contest.

Managed a few more rows on the infinity scarf yesterday, getting down to the end of the second ball of yarn and about to need to join the final one!
