Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Tomorrow is Dancing on Ice, so I won't have time for knitting meeces. Good thing I have plenty waiting to be sewn up.

Not the best day ever, I wasn't feeling great and the weather was foul, but I watched my favourite Indiana Jones movie, so there's that.

No progress today, unfortunately! A light bulb went in my room and I only remembered after it got dark.

I have been AWOL for a little while because I, uh, fell and hit my head, as one does, and couldn't stitch for almost two weeks because I couldn't bend my neck or squint!

Today I was able to get at it though, and I finished a sampler I've been working on since January! It took me about an hour and my neck is unhappy, but I'm just glad to be back in the saddle.

Oh no! Owie. Glad you're recovering, even if your neck still isn't too happy.

Well done for finishing your stitching. Just don't overdo it and make your neck worse.

Over the last few days I've managed to get another 9 or so roses done, so that's progressing nicely! I've discovered I'd really like to make a new cloak for this year to fit the new cloak brooches onto, so... um... that's all cut out and ready to start work on.

Oooh, what colour will the cloak be? I've always wished that cloaks hadn't gone out of fashion.

Yesterday I was working on the infinity scarf while on a voice call with some friends and they got to hear me realise I messed up a stitch in real-time! We went on a Youtube journey in teaching me to undo a stitch and I was very touched to have a little cheering section when I figured out how to do it. Infinity scarf saved and several more rows down. :D

It's always good to have cheerleaders and help figuring out how to fix mistakes. Take heart from the fact that after 40 years of knitting, I still screw things up, drop stitches, and make mistakes that I have to undo because I can't figure out where I went wrong. It happens. Well done for fixing your error and making progress!
