Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

You can read about the moderately interesting details in my personal journal - I don't want to bore everyone to death.

Stamping - if you can call my primitive method that - is something I did before, for purely decorative purposes, so I thought I might as well give it another try.

Deb left me a couple of little photo frames so I put some of my fanciest scrapbook papers in them to make little mini artworks. I think they look quite good (I'm not really a family photos person and doubt I'd have any photos of me and my parents in the last 15 years - that's how not photos we are!) The pictures aren't great as there's too much reflection in the glass.
I've also got some little wooden coasters that I might paint and cover the top with nice papers and some lacquer.
Also putting the backstitch on Sonja's baby cross stitch (she's due today, so waiting for the name announcement to put in those last details) then I can start organising a frame for it.

I'm like you, not into photos. Art is much better for wall decoration than family photos.
The coaster idea sounds fun, and well done with the baby sampler. Now you just ned the baby to make its appearance!

But the biggest news is that I went to a craft fair today to do some market research. Long post on my findings with polls on potential pricing of items in my journal, here: https://xnera.dreamwidth.org/1070545.html

Researching is good, but it's troubling there was only one yarn craft stall there.
I really don't know about pricing, it's years since I took part in a craft fair and despite having low prices I hardly sold anything, just about made back the price of the stall and a small profit, but I'd used materials I already had so I never calculated for cost of materials or my time. You sound a lot more organised than I was.
