Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've been behind all day and trying to catch up. Still got my 5 meeces done and another 5 knitted, but later than usual.

I'm working with the yarn in shades of brown and bright pink, which is giving me some interesting effects, a bright pink stripe going halfway across the meece. This latest batch are going to look a bit different.

I was still behind when I went to bed, late *sigh* Some days are just like that.

I've completed the Cat Pillow Gang. Here they are:



They are called Mikkamakka, Vachkamati, Machek Ivanovich and Miauion, respectively. The first three are from various kiddie stories from my childhood, the 4th one is, of course, from the Book of Lost Tales by the one and only Professor Tolkien.

As you see, your meeces are unlikely to get a fright from the sight of them.

I have managed to finish the shoulders and arm holes (it’s a vestee so the arms are done), and now it’s just stockinette stitch in the round for 10 inches or so before the next step!
