Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Haven't been having a good day, but I've managed to finish 5 meeces and knit 5 more.

The first meece to be sewn up was faulty though. Somehow I'd managed to drop two stitches during knitting so I had to unpick the last few rows and re-do them. Then during knitting of the next batch, i missed the last decrease row off the first one and cut the yarn, so now I won't have enough for sewing up and I'll have to join in another length. *sigh*

Sorry to hear it wasn't a good day and tricky meece to boot is frustrating to add to it.

Thanks. I was very annoyed with myself over my mistakes. I don't know how I managed to drop two stitches without noticing.

Unlikely, as their paws are sewn on firmly and thus couldn't wear them. *g*

Another rose done for the curtains. Been distracted with a new book which is great reading.

Every rose is progress! Reading is always a good thing.

Reading is the best distraction there is. Unfortunately, it's quite time-consuming.
