Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've not been commenting but have been peeking in, you all have been so active! I'm sitting in the living room looking at patterns, I've half decided to make placemats with some very springtime colors to help move the winter along. We had about four inches of snow and it has been very cold.

I finished the baby blanket on Wednesday.

Place mats sound like a cheery idea. Winter is dragging as usual. There hasn't been snow where I am since November thank goodness, but it's still cold and dismal most days, so cheery projects are very welcome.

Our coldest days and most snow is in Jan - early Feb. A few years ago we had 15 inches in one snowstorm about this time. It was unpleasant.

Yikes! Thankfully I think I've only seen that much snow once, back in the 80s. We usually get snow, if we're going to, in Jan/Feb. November was unheard of. Maybe 10 years back we had heavy snow in March, maybe 6 to 8 inches, which wasn't fun.

And I should rave again about how much I like self striping yarn with a center-out pattern. Just sit and stitch, no fiddling with an entire basket of colors.

Gosh, you wouldn't know it's one ball of wool. The colours are just lovely and the design of beautiful.

Meece production continues. 5 finished and 5 knitted.

I'm about to start with a ball of yarn that's in shades of pink and white. I'll combine it with pinks and blues. I have 20 meeces planned. After than, I have yarn in shades of pink and brown, I think, so a few more meeces to come before I look for something else to make.

I'm hoping so. The shades of purple and shades of blue yarns yielded some striking results, so hopefully the pink one will too.

I've finished the first cat plushie. It looks funny. I think it can also be used as a small pillow, due to it's shape. :))

The Olympics have started which means the start of the Ravellenic Games, which ask you to challenge yourself for digital medals. I've got some WIPs I want to try and finish for it, but the main thing I decided to do is make one snowflake and one duckling per day. I successfully completed today's quota!

Also did one row on the blanket, and a few rows on one of the WIPs, a knitted cowl.

That's great, progress on 4 items, two of them completed! If you keep that up you'll soon have plenty of stock for the craft fair.
