Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I’m just trying to decide whether I have the energy to start crocheting now as it’s already ten at night and I’m tired. I guess there’s no immediate rush to finish so I might just have a quiet night and read and get some early sleep.

No crafting today. I planned to, but I spent all morning in the kitchen, and then didn't feel like in the afternoon.

To be honest, cooking isn't something I'd enjoy too much. Now baking, that's an art form!

Public holiday here today, so doing a lot of little things around the house and starting to sew (on the machine) a Polish Kountuz (a coat) for a friend. It's cut and mostly pinned. Brocade on the outside with a cream, silk lining.

I did build my hat a cardboard house with skylights and windows for her 6th Adoption Anniversary day today, so there'll be a pic of that later. :)

Lunch time crochet \o/ This time one of my coworkers worked on his own knitting with me.

That sounds like fun - I'd like to be able to chat while crafting but I don't know anyone in RL who crafts (certainly not in my workplace)

It is fun! You can check our your local library or community center, but the timing might be off - my library does host one, but it's during my work day and the traffic is too much for me to make the drive during my lunch to make it worth while.

I can finally report some progress! I got a couple more rows done on my Schitt's Creek project and also started a new one. There's going to be a new baby in my family in the very near future and I haven't done my traditional bib yet! So off I go with this one. It will not in any way beat the baby into the world, but that's okay too.

One row on the blanket. I had a moment of panic that perhaps I should be doing TWO rows a day to finish before her graduation, but then I counted how many rows I have left (I make a sheet with checkboxes for each row, so easy to count) and there's 91, which would be Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Since graduations are in May that means I can finish EASILY at my current pace, yay!

Also worked on the tote bag. I've started the helix knitting and it's working out great. I'm about six rounds into the helix.

Cooked dinner tonight, because mom asked me to. Baked ziti! EASY recipe and very yummy!

Finally, posted another section of my FFBE fan script, yay! I think I have just three more posts to do and season one will be done.
