Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

The rest of the meece mugshots have been taken, and the meeces are partway packaged, in their padded envelopes and with the address labels attached. Tomorrow I'll have to seal them in, ready to go...

Unfortunately in the process, my cake of wound yarn collapsed and got tangled, so I spent time last night and this afternoon untangling it. That means I didn't finish the base of the bag until about 45 minutes ago. I'm now about five rounds into the body. Still using the Cascade 220 until it runs out, it doesn't matter if I start the stripes mid-round.

Not so good that it got tangled, I had that problem myself Sunday night, trying to unravel huge tangles. So annoying.

The good thing about finishing the jigsaws is this is real decluttering because I'm currently doing ones that even though I'm enjoying them, I won't keep to do again - I'm saving those ones for later!
I need to make a decision about one on my shelf. It's by one of my favourite artists, Schim Schimmel and I think it's this one shown here which the more I think about it is just terrifyingly lacking in variety of colour etc to make assembling a challenge but not a frustrating impossibility!

Oh, I LOVE those pictures. Never knew the artist's name though. I don't have any of the jigsaws but I have a chart I printed out for one of them to do as a cross stitch. I'll never do it, too many colours and stitches, but I love the picture. I used a computer program to turn it into a cross stitch chart MANY years ago.
