Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

One row on niece's blanket.

But mostly, knitting on the tote bag. I'm hoping to finish the base of it today. I estimate another 14 rows to go, and I'm hoping I won't run out of yarn...

The base is black Cascade 220. The sides will be helix knitted with four stripes of Patons Classic Wool (Bright Red, Dark Grey Mix, Bright Red, Grey Mix). The straps will be Patons Classic Wool in black. So, I could use some Patons for the base as well but the two blacks are slightly different, therefore I'm hoping I have enough Cascade 220 to last.

The bag will look wonderful, I love the colours you're using.

A lot of people think all black is the same, but it has variations in tone, depending on the yarn. Hope tyou don't run out for the base.

I did a table and two chairs for my miniature coffee shop. They are slightly slanted so I am glad they don't have to support any real beverages, hot or otherwise.

Spent a bit of yesterday taking photos of the medieval bath with the curtains I've just finished. You should be able to see it here:

Spent evening listening to audio book and working more on the jigsaw I shouldn't be doing and arguing with the TV which was refusing to let me watch DOI. Eventually came upstairs and watched DOI late but with no crafting. I don't know about you, but I have another two pairs to watch out for - 1 male and 1 female from each episode. I suppose that at least one of my pairs is likely to stay in for a few weeks and/or get to the final. Then again, it also depends on how they get on over the next couple of weeks - I may pare down my own selection if I decide I'm not so keen after all!

I have two guys from week 2, lol! Regan and Connor both impressed, but Regan most of all. I think week 2 was the better week, and everyone did really well.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I was very happy to see Dan Whiston taking part in the opening routine. I miss him now he's more behind the scenes instead of skating with one of the celebs. He's always been one of my two favourite pros.
