Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Five more meeces completed, 5 more knitted. Had extra fun with the ones I knitted tonight, using a plain yarn and a multi-coloured one, so that's 5 very different meece.

Sometimes I think "this might look terrible" with variegated scraps then it's always fine.

I did a bit of work on the dragon cross stitch of indecision, and then pulled out a crewelwork kit I’d gotten 2/3s done with last year and then abandoned for reasons now forgotten and have been making more progress on that… Hopefully I can get that one from WIP to FO.

Sounds like you're doing well on both.

No crafting yesterday but very busy updating the medieval herb garden page on my website, and trying to make a good start of the bathhouse page (which the curtains I'm sewing are needed for). I do find that updating things online DOES actually motivate me to finish things, so expect the curtains to get done this weekend. I don't get a huge amount of time before work on late shift and, well, lots of people away sick. So glad our little Badly Knitted family is doing pretty well and even those who have been unwell have had craft opportunities!

I put away the thread snowflakes gear in favor of thicker yarn. I keep being too tired for thread, so that meant I was doing no crafting.

Trivets and dishcloths for now. Maybe thread when it gets warmer.

Yes, fine yarns can be a nightmare to work with if you're tired and don't want to fiddle. Dishcloths and trivets are always useful.

It's a good idea to swap things out to renew your enthusiasm.

* finished crocheting a duck
* did most of a snowflake - I'm on final round
* lots of work on a knitted bunny, which I will finish tomorrow

This on a day where we went to the gym and I had my therapy session. Got oodles of crafting done today!
